G1 fees
The amount shown is the Class G1 licence package. You pay it when you apply.
The package covers the knowledge test, your first road test (for the G2 licence) and a five-year licence. Your second road test (for the full G licence) and any retakes, including extra knowledge test attempts, cost more.
The fees are set by the Government of Ontario, are in Canadian dollars and include all applicable taxes. The DriveTest fee page says they have been in effect since July 12, 2019.
DriveTest accepts cash, Visa or MasterCard, debit cards, certified business or personal cheques, bank drafts and money orders (made payable to Serco Canada Inc.), and Canadian or American travellers cheques.
